Kia Motors India is all set to unveil its brand new luxury SUV in India, catering to its high-end premium customers. The Korean giant is set to launch its brand new EV9 luxury electric SUV in India on October 3.

Kia’s brand-new EV9 will offer the brand’s best experience to date, offering a futuristic design, stunning road presence, a luxurious interior and a stunning performance with its electric powertrain. The electric SUV is finally making its debut in India in October.

The upcoming Kia EV9 will feature a stunning design with its luxury appeal and offers a futuristic proportions with front LED DRL and headlamps. It comes with rear LED taillights with large alloy wheels, unique rear-view mirrors appealing with Kia’s luxury appeal.

Apart from this futuristic design, the new EV9 will feature a magnificent interior with loads of comfort and premium materials, offering cutting-edge technology to offer the best driving experience to its customers.

Powertrain, Range & Charging

Kia’s new flagship EV9 offers both single and dual electric motor setup powered by a large 99.8 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 561 Km on a single charge. The single motor setup offers ample power while the dual motor model comes with standard all-wheel drive and thrilling performance.

The top-spec model produces 384 hp and 700 Nm of torque and offers an acceleration from 0-100 Kmph in just 5.3 seconds. Kia offers DC fast charging abilities and can charge from 10-80% in just 24 minutes and is built with the new 800V architecture.

Pricing & Launch Date

Kia India is set to launch its EV9 in India as a complete built-up unit (CBU) and will be imported directly to India. The new EV9 will launch in India with an expected price of around Rs. 1 Crore (Ex-showroom). The luxury electric SUV will compete with rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, Audi Q8 e-tron, and the BMW iX in the Indian market.
