Here are the top features of the upcoming Tata Harrier EV
Tata Motors is planning to expand its EV portfolio with the launch of the Harrier EV in the market. The brand intends to keep its dominance in the market with the upcoming Tata Harrier.ev. The flagship EV from Tata Motors will offer upmarket appeal, several bits and quirks to fit its EV profile combined with the company’s new Activ.ev architecture and up to 500 Km driving range. The company’s brand-new flagship EV is set to launch in India soon and dominate the segment in the growing EV landscape in the country.
Design
Judging by the new spy images, the upcoming Harrier EV will share several of its design elements with its ICE counterpart, offering the big strip LED DRL and a closed front grille design (similar to the Curvv.ev) along with many tweaks to the body and chassis to support its EV powertrain.
Its new design will feature sequential LED DRLs, Bi-LED projector headlamps, and big LED fog lamps. The electric SUV will also feature several changes to make it different from its ICE-counterpart, it includes new aerodynamic 17-inch wheels and new tyres, along with blacked-out pillars, and new ORVMs.
Specifications
The Tata Harrier.ev will use JLR’s ‘Omega Architecture’ which is developed in collaboration with Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover. This new platform will offer all-wheel drive support and will offer a range of 500 Km on a single charge. The SUV will pack two battery packs a 60kWh and an 80kWh with the dual motor setup. Tata’s new Harrier.ev will offer Level 2 ADAS, Vehicle to vehicle and vehicle-to-load functionality along with dual digital displays.
Additional Features
More features include new colours and a wide appearance, a new two-spoke steering wheel, a new 12.3-inch infotainment display, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a spacious cabin with loads of comfort and space, persona-themed design to add more luxury to the car.
Price and Launch
The upcoming Tata Harrier.ev launch is set for March 2025 according to various reports. The new electric SUV from Tata Motors will arrive in India at a price of around Rs. 25 – 30 lakh (Ex-showroom) and will compete with Mahindra’s XUV.e8.
